Tumi is our January Pet of the Month!
Tumi is our January Pet of the Month. He is a 3.5 years old German shepherd and Belgian Malinois mix. Here is what his mom, Carmen M., had to say about Tumi:
“My husband and I adopted our dog, Tumi, last year. We went to the Stanislaus Animal shelter and Tumi was the only dog we met. He was so sweet right from the beginning that we knew we had to take him home. He is an energetic dog that loves to play, go for walks, be pet, and to cuddle.
From the beginning, we noticed he had a sensitive stomach. We tried one dog food and found out he wasn’t digesting it fully. We tried another and that one made him irregular. We decided to look for a healthier, more natural option. Our local Pet Food Express recommended Nature’s Logic, and we’ve been buying his food from them ever since.
Tumi has been enjoying Nature’s Logic Distinction for about 5 months and he loves to eat it with a splash of kefir or some beef broth (Kefir mix is his favorite).”
Fun facts:
- He understands cameras and every time you hold the phone in front of him, he stands there for a few minutes to pose for the camera.
- He only likes animal toys. He ignores tennis balls, but his eagle, squirrel, and flamingo toys are his favorites.
- When he is relaxing on the couch he looks out of the window to watch squirrels.
- We bring him with us when we travel. In the last year, he has been to Bass Lake CA, Yosemite CA, Cannon Beach OR, Medford OR, Eugene OR, Seattle WA, MT Shasta CA, Anaheim CA (Disneyland), and Half Moon Bay CA. He does well in the car and makes himself right at home in Hotels.
